Jocelyne Leger Nowlan, Partner at Actus Law Droit

Jocelyne is a bilingual lawyer, and after practising as a family lawyer with the New Brunswick Legal Aid Services Commission since 2005, she joined private practice in 2014. Previous to that, she also worked as legal counsel for the former Family Mediation Program offered by the province of New Brunswick.

Since joining the private sector, Jocelyne has grown to practice in the area of surrogacy and fertility law. She has been invited as a speaker at the national level on this topic and continues to help families deal with legal issues surrounding these life changing family decisions. She has represented clients from various Canadian provinces as well as international clients. Jocelyne is one of the only lawyers in New Brunswick who has a practice in the field of fertility and surrogacy law.

Outside of her law practice, she keeps busy with activities involving her husband and three children!
